ABOUT ME

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Alberta taking mechanical engineering. I am in my third year in the accelerated traditional program. But have altered my degree layout slightly to allow time in the summer to get job experience like working for research at MacEwan University, Starting my own company, and gaining experience in many different fields to further my perspective and knowledge

I have many opportunities to experience in many different fields in my life and am grateful for that. One of my passions is working for Diabetes Canada as a camp councillor for a few months in the summer. Helping kids with the disease I have had since I was 7. But aside from that I aspire to work in the biomedical field and one day open up a clinic for personalized rehabilitative care for people with varying disabilities.

Digital Skills

I know multiple coding languages and have had practical experience with on the job learning of three languages. Languages I know (scale: 1-10):

I am also very skilled in all Office software, video editing, and operating all operating systems.

Leadership

I have taken on many leadership positions in my life. I enjoy leading and shaping a team to have a healthy and productive environment. I also like being a team player and contributing. I find this quality in a leader because it allows me to know more about the personal goals of the team so I can direct the momentum of the group in the right direction. I have worked a lot without a supervisor overseeing all of my actions o it has caused me to be independent in the workforce and allow my work ethic to drive me to success without relying on my supervisor.

Creativity

I have lots ideas and m always willing to share them even i fit is to get the ball rolling. I find I am very passionate about a topic once I begin to explore it. This causes me to want to approach the problem from all angles and get new perspectives on the issue. This creative approach allows for a more diverse look at problems and possible a better solution.
